Ah yes, time for debates once again. This time I was ahead of the game! I actually made this week’s delectible Caramel-Peanut-Topped Brownie Cake, selected by Tammy from Wee Treats by Tammy, last night. And I even had a guest over for taste testing! Reviews were pretty positive – to me, it tasted like one big Snickers Bar (this is not a bad thing). The caramel took a little longer than was stated to reach just the perfect color, but otherwise, I pretty much followed the recipe exactly as written.,
I will say, however, that after saving it overnight in the fridge, and bringing it into work this morning, it turned it to a rather big mess of ooey gooey caramel. Not to say that it wasn’t devoured. Just saying it required a little elbow grease to clean up.
